About Partnerhuset

Part of Universitetsbyen in Aarhus

Partnerhuset is part of Universitetsbyen and is an area in the heart of Aarhus where knowledge, innovation, and collaboration meet. The building is created as a community for companies, organizations, and entrepreneurs who want to be close to the research environments and the strong networks around Aarhus University.

Partnerhuset is operated by FEAS Erhverv P/S, a subsidiary under Aarhus University Research Foundation, and INCUBA A/S. The foundation’s purpose is to support scientific research at Aarhus University, but it also works, among other things through FEAS, to realize Aarhus University’s vision of a unified campus where Universitetsparken, Universitetsbyen, and Katrinebjerg are connected more closely, both physically and academically.

In 2016, FEAS acquired the former Aarhus Municipal Hospital, and in May 2019 the transformation into Universitetsbyen was initiated. Here, Partnerhuset is located in a historic setting with modern content and in close interaction with the university.

“We have a clear ambition for Universitetsbyen to be a hub for business development in Aarhus and the Central Denmark Region. It should buzz with activity, with talks and workshops on innovation and entrepreneurship, and the area should, overall, be a strong magnet for both established and newly started companies that want to share in the knowledge and networks that exist.”
